 Carri Bugbee  is an expert in digital marketing, public relations and advertising with 20+ years’ experience managing accounts, projects and campaigns. She works with startups and big brands alike on strategy and planning, branding, press and influencer outreach, social media marketing (paid and organic), content development, special events (in-person and virtual), lead generation and more.

 

As a strategist, Carri has developed marketing plans, positioning statements, key messages, buyer personas, tag lines, content calendars and creative briefs. As a content creator, she has written for just about every marketing project imaginable — digital, broadcast and print — and colllaborated with professionals in graphic design, technology and broadcast production.

She is adept with marketing technologies (MarTech) and frequently advises clients on tool recommendations and integrations.

 

Carri has been called upon to speak about best practices in social media and related topics at conferences around the world. She has provided similar training to marketers and executives within large organizations. She taught social media marketing at Portland State University, University of Oregon, Miami Ad School and the Online Marketing Institute.

 

Carri received an international Shorty Award (dubbed the “Oscars of Twitter”) for creating outstanding content on Twitter.

In recent years, Carri has become an advocate for Agile methodologies. Embracing an Agile mindset can help marketers become more productive and efficient. Agile enhances collaboration with clients and creates transparency for all projects.
